FIRE PUMP ROOM
Fire pumps are essential components of a building’s fire protection system, especially in high-rise structures. In buildings with levels from 400-500 ft. and higher, fire pumps are critical in distributing water through sprinkler systems where water pressure from water mains and firefighting equipment cannot reach.
HYDRANT SYSTEMS
Fire hydrant installation consists of a system of pipe work connected directly to the water supply main to provide water to every hydrant outlet and is intended to provide water for the firemen to fight a fire. The water is discharged into the fire engine form which it is then pumped and sprayed over fire.
SPRINKLER SYSTEM
Sprinkler system, in fire control, a means of protecting a building against fire by causing an automatic discharge of water, usually from pipes near the ceiling.
PRE ACTION SYSTEM
Pre-Action system generally requires two separate fire detection signals in order to operate. Thus the systems are effectively designed for water sensitive areas that require protection from inadvertent water flow into the sprinkler system piping.
INTEGRATED DETECTION SYSTEM
The proposed fire detection system is the combination of wireless sensor technologies, UAVs, and cloud computing. Some image processing techniques are also integrated into the proposed fire detection system to identify the fire event with better accuracy and used as an integrated solution.
DUCTLESS SMOKE EXTRACTION SYSTEM
Smoke extraction consists in evacuating part of the smoke produced by the fire by creating a height of free air under the layer of smoke. The goal is : − To facilitate the evacuation of the occupants − To limit the spread of fire − To allow firefighters access to the premises
